The Switchboard and Motor Control Centre System
The modular switchboard system permits a vast array of possibilities and great
versatility for constructing Main Switchboards, Motor Control Centres, Distribution
Boards, Power Factor Correction Cubicles and Control Panels. The switchboard
system also makes it easy to design a switchboard to suit almost any installation. Whether
a switchboard is already in service or at a switchboard manufacturer, switchboards
can be easily extended or modified as the needs of the installation change. In addition to
being easy to design, the modular system is fast to assemble.

| Dimensions |
|
All Cubic width, height and depth dimensions are measured in multiples of 192 mm which are called “modules”. Multiples of
modules are indicated by the designations: 1M, 2M, 3M…12M etc. For example, individual tiers for motor control applications
can be up to 4 Modules wide.
|
Box construction type
(bolt together sides) |
Maximum: W: 10M, H: 10M, D: 2M (M = module) |
Frame construction type
(with frame + covers) |
Maximum modules per plinth: W: 12M, H: 12M, D: 4M
There are no limits on multiples of the above being used
for Width, Height, Depth when using panel types |
