CUBIC is built by accredited and trained switchboard manufacturers who have been trained on the system. Refer to CUBIC partners for switchboard manufactures who have been trained and accredited to assemble CUBIC

- Box Construction Type (bolt together size)
Maximum: W = 10M , H = 10M , D = 2M (M = Module 192 mm)

- Frame Construction Type (with frame + covers) Maximum modules per plinth: W = 12M ,
H = 12M , D = 4M (M = Module 192 mm)

There are no limits on multiples of the above being used for Width, Height, Depth when using panel types.

NHP provides training all across Australia and New Zealand. This ensures switchboard manufacturers follow best assembly practices and Cubic guidelines when using the modular system. For the type of training provided refer to the CUBIC Accreditation section.

For the different CUBIC accreditation systems you must have:

Basic Module:
Accredited Certificate Holder must have experience in the design of simple LVA for up to 10kA, must have electrical and mechanical education. Applicant must prepare a C.V outlining experience criteria for evaluation.

System Builder:
Accredited Certificate Holder must have several years experience in LV, knowledge of IEC60.439-1, overall PC and AutoCAD knowledge, regular use of the Modular System. Electrical and mechanical education applicant must prepare a C.V outlining experience criteria for evaluation.

Additional Modules:
Accredited Certificate Holder has a minimum of 5 years experience in LV. CUBIC System Builder training, must have electrical and mechanical education. Applicant must prepare a C.V outlining experience criteria for evaluation, over a minimum of 5 years experience.

You can apply for training by filling out our Application for Accreditation which is located in the CUBIC Accreditation section, there is an individual and a company application which you fill out and send to as you will then be contacted and informed of the next training session.

Certificate must be renewed annually due to updates that occur with CUBIC system from time to time. Failure to do so invalidates certificate.

Following training, support will be available at any time via NHP staff at State office level. Depending on the level of accreditation support would be minimal, due to the high level of independence.
