Each component utilised across the NHP PFC range are resourced from world leading manufacturers, each of a specialist field and ensure a high quality and advanced PFC solution.

NHP functional trays
NHP offer complete power factor correction functional trays for assembly of new PFC systems or the augmentation of existing systems. With the NHP functional tray you have a choice of module ratings including 50, 25, 12.5 or 6.25 kVAr. This granularity in module rating gives you the flexibility to tailor-make a PFC system to suit your particular application.
Functional tray features:
- Modules available in various kVAr ratings
- Modular design for easy installation and removal
- Capacitors constructed of self-healing dielectric
- Very low power loss capacitors – less than 0.4W per kVAr
- Internal safety mechanism isolates capacitor at the end of useful service life
- Tuned harmonic reactors fitted as standard, tuned to 189Hz.
- Over-temperature cut-out integral to harmonic reactor, used to isolate module in over-temperature conditions

These highly reliable and high performing power capacitors handle the challenges of PFC operation due to their quality design and structure. Harmonic tuned reactors
Harmonic tuned reactors are a vital component to the NHP PFC solution. Higher frequency harmonic currents will increase dielectric stress and heating within the capacitor, which can ultimately lead to reduced capacitor life through dielectric failure. The addition of an inductor in series with the capacitor will protect the capacitor from the dangerous harmonic currents of the power system.
All NHP PFC assemblies are fitted with harmonic tuned reactors as standard. |

Beluk BLR-CX Controller
The Beluk BLR-CX controller relay offers standard PFC functionality in a compact, easy to use package. With fully automatic, self adapting capacitive step size measurement the BLR-CX is capable of selecting the appropriate sized correction step at all times. The BLR-CX monitors the usage of each capacitive step and ensures that the usage is spread across all steps. Capable of automatic, LIFO and manual switching modes, the BLR-CX is the standard in PFC controller technology.

Beluk BLR-CM Controller
The Beluk BLR-CM controller relay offers advanced PFC functionality in a compact, easy to use package. Offering all the features of the BLR-CX, the BLR-CM also offers advanced measurement and communications capabilities. Measuring and displaying system information on voltages, currents, active power, reactive power, apparent power, harmonic voltages and harmonic currents, among others. The controller is also equipped with a Modbus over RS485 interface for connection to a PLC or BMS for remote monitoring.
